Do you love creating the setting for other people's big days? Do you get energy from making the first call, following up, and watching an idea turn into a full house? Then this is the job for you.
We're looking for a sales manager for our private functions and events business. You'll take ownership of private functions – weddings, milestone birthdays, confirmations, anniversaries and memorial gatherings – as well as our julefrokost (Christmas lunch) season, when both private and corporate guests fill the buildings.
You'll be the first person customers meet, and the one who makes sure everything has been thought through by the time they arrive.
About the place
Anneberg Kulturpark is a listed complex from 1915 in Odsherred – an hour from Copenhagen. Our setting is one most people can only dream of: historic halls, room for up to 500 guests, a theatre hall, our own church, a guest house with rooms, and nature, the Isefjord and a thriving artist community all around us.
Food and drink are provided by our own venues: Anneberg Spisehus, our Danish bistro, and Restaurant MOTA, Michelin-recognised and led by Claus Henriksen.
Functions and events are one of the areas where we see the greatest potential – and you'll play the leading role in unfolding it.
Your responsibilities
Sales and relationships
Selling and advising on private functions – weddings, special occasions, anniversaries and family gatherings
Ownership of the julefrokost season, for both private groups and companies
Outreach sales and building relationships with local networks, the wedding market and returning customers
Developing packages and concepts that make it easy for the customer to say yes
Quoting, pricing, follow-up and repeat business
Coordination and quality
Planning events from first contact through to delivery
Close collaboration with the restaurant manager, who supports the execution
Coordination with the guest house, kitchen, technical team and administration
Sparring with our conference and meetings manager, so we present a strong, unified front to customers
We're looking for someone who
Has experience from the restaurant, hotel or conference industry and knows the engine room from the inside
Has experience selling functions as well as delivering them
Is motivated by creating new customers and relationships – you're happy to make the first approach
Is service-minded, warm and welcoming towards guests and customers
Is passionate about functions and celebrations and can feel when a day comes together
Is proactive and self-directed – you set the agenda for your own week
Works in a structured way and keeps the overview, even with many balls in the air
Is a team player with strong team spirit who enjoys coordinating across the restaurant, guest house and office
Holds a driving licence
We offer
The chance to shape and develop one of Denmark's most exciting destination projects
Ownership of an area with significant growth potential – and the freedom to put your own stamp on it
Some of the country's most unique settings to sell
A Michelin kitchen and a Danish bistro as your suppliers
Short decision-making paths
A dedicated team where we help each other across the venues
Attractive salary based on qualifications, plus a pension scheme
The option of accommodation at Anneberg Kulturpark
