World-class Nordic gastronomy
Restaurant MOTA is Claus Henriksen's Michelin restaurant in Anneberg Kulturpark. With roots in the fertile soil of Odsherred and the Isefjord as a neighbour, MOTA creates gastronomy with respect for nature, the season and local ingredients. An honest and sustainable tribute to the place and its terroir.

"Claus Henriksen's newest restaurant is set in a listed, early 20th century red-brick house in the Annebergparken. Set menus showcase the best, hyper-seasonal Danish ingredients, including organic vegetables and local seafood. Combinations are original and dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavour."
MICHELIN
"MOTA can be called a well-kept secret, and it is truly a gem...."

Exquisite food in exquisite surroundings
Restaurant MOTA is located in a beautiful listed building from 1915. The building was originally built as a community center and theater for the mental hospital. With room for 40 diners in the restaurant and 80 guests in the banquet hall, every detail has been taken care of. The interior and decoration are tailor-made for the restaurant, the furniture is designed by Gitte Klausen in our own carpentry workshop - and most of the service is designed and produced by Claus Henriksen himself. We prefer to avoid compromises. Perhaps that is why we received our first Michelin star in 2022, just eight months after opening.
